Last month was the month were the personal projects I’m working on began to take shape.

What’s it all about? Well I’m involved basically in 2 things … one is about an Online game where I’m providing technical knowledge and support and the second one is an fresh established N.G.O called “The Political Cafe” where I’m doing mainly Marketing and Human Resources.

A couple of months ago, Paul had a crazy idea of creating an Online game similar to Travian. At first it really sounded crazy, but after a few chats he convinced me to join the game team and we started the work for the business plan. The game is now in production and it’s very exciting to watch every day new features unfold. It’s scheduled to go live somewhere after the 15th of January after all beta testing is complete. Hey Guys,

It’s Thursday evening and I’m still at work, trying to figure out some personal stuff. I know I should be heading home, but I can’t … I have to finish this. Why am I writing today? Honestly? I don’t know. I don’t even know what I’m going to write but I’m pretty sure I can build on the way.

There have been some developments in my life. Right now I’m struggling hard to get my drivers license, It’s not much but It’s still a pain in the a**. Besides this I’ve got some new opportunities here and I’ve been working on three personal projects. I’m trying to pave My Road into life, working on different projects that may or may not make me an entrepreneur in the near future, and I can tell you something: It feels pretty good doing something for myself for a change :).

Now back to the opportunities I was talking about: just recently I’ve got an interesting hint, I might be teaching for a semester at my University. It may sound weird but I’m not going anywhere till March next year so why the hell not. If this works out I’m going to have my own pets to experiment up-on [evil_grin] … and I’ll get payed. I’ve become somewhat materialistic in the last period, and of course it has nothing to do with the fact I really, really like to spend money (can’t help it … runs in the family).

I was pondering today about friends, those I haven’t seen in a while and those I lost recently. I haven’t forgotten none of them, none of you guys if you’re reading this, but I’ve been a stranger to lots of them these past months. It’s the n time I promise to myself I’m gonna do something about it. This blog is a small step :D.

Hey,

I’ve planned this a long time ago. A few days ago I managed to get my own domain name so I decided to move out of http://zeno.myaiesec.net. I’ve also installed a brand new publishing software for what will be my personal website from now on.

Work on the current template is ongoing, I’m having problems rendering it properly in Internet Explorer and Opera. Every web designer’s wish would fulfilled if all browsers would respect the HTML and CSS standards. Unfortunately, every browser renders the pages how it sees fit. So there may be some hick-ups during the next weeks till I manage to move in to http://www.zeno.ro completely :).

I’m still working at my old workplace at the university. It’s been 4 years since I first walked in this office, it’s like a lifetime and I think I will remember it as one the coolest jobs I had. No schedule, funny colleagues, very cool boss, nights spent over when something was not working, first steps in understanding design-web-computer networks.

Lot’s of memories bind me to this place and people with all good and bad times, bonds almost as strong as my AIESEC experience. A part of me is literally in every piece of this office: in the paint on the walls, the boards of the floor, the equipments, the folders in the other room, every piece of web code and databases, every configuration file and scripts on the servers, and mostly in the people here. The team of five that made it all possible. Trust me, we did achieve the impossible together. Although I try to postpone the moment as long as I can as each day passes I realize that it’s time to it’s time to spread my wings and fly away. For me there’s nothing more to learn, nothing more to experience, nothing more to develop, to grow to create … Not here.

Hey Guys,

I know, some of you wanted to know how it went with my AI selection. Well there’s been some sudden change of plans. No more going to Rotterdam for a year . The selection board, didn’t find me suitable for that position, so that’s it. I must admit I’m deeply sad at the moment I’m writing this, but that’s life: loose some, win some. I would have really liked to work there. But then again maybe it’s better this way. Don’t worry too much guys, I have left my options open and I will be moving on. It just takes a little time.
