Hey,
Well I have been busy in the last period. As you all know by now, I’ve run for MCVP Communication, I got trough the first round and passed the “trust” vote at MCC but after the second round the MCP thought that the other candidate, Darius was more suitable for this position.
That’s about it … I did my best and failed. Everything was quite strange after the announcement was made; I knew the result as I lined up with the other candidates. I don’t know how, but I knew it. I was prepared for both – getting or not elected.
I was very calm after the announcement, all the people there came and embraced me, some because it was the polite thing to do, some because they really meant it, some cried, some were sad, some had a static expression on their face. It was more as if I was trying to comfort my friends while it should have been the other way around. Very strange, I was myself surprised of the way I reacted. It meant tough a lot to me to have some of my best friends around me at that time. Anyway, I’m a big boy and I can take it. Been there, done that. It’s not the first time life throws me on the floor and hits me till I can’t move anymore. I’ll just do what I always did: I’ll pick myself up, learn out of the experience, and move on. The faster I do this, the faster I’m gonna get back on track. AIESEC is truly a real life experience.

Hey guys,
Not used with so many posts in so little time? Well I can’t help it… only today I’ve made up my mind: I’m running for the MCVP Communications position in the Romanian MC.
Some of my friends asked me why I choose Romania, as I was so convinced to try an abroad experience this year … Well it’s because I always wanted an IS related position in my country. And with the new structure this is now possible. It fits like a glow on my background: I’ve worked on branding at national (Romanian Branding Team) and international level (Global Branding Crew). I’ve just returned from a CEED where I worked under the Global Communication manager. I was 1 year VP Marketing in my LC. So, I have the background, I can do something for my country … why do it for others?
I thought a lot on this and it’s decided :).
Wish me luck!
The Lion.

Hi guys,
Guess what!
I’m going back here:
Yeah, that’s right! I’m going back to Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I was accepted for the AIESEC International Strategic Meeting. I just can’t wait to get there. I will be leaving on the 17th of November and getting back on the 21th of November. It’s short period but still. We will be covering topics on IS future in AIESEC. This is going to be quite interesting and exciting. On the other side I will be seeing some good friends there. I just can’t wait!
I also received another mail regarding a similar issue, an AIESEC Romania IS strategic meeting, that will take place on the 28th of October. I was just invited to the event. It seems that all things are coming together … nice isn’t it?
That’s it for the moment,
Cheers,
The Lion.
