I don’t know how to start, I don’t know exactly what to write … Cristi (Meli), died in a car accident yesterday. He was 25 years old, and he left behind a girlfriend he was about to get married to, a younger sister and lots of good friends.
He was the guy that was always finding something to laugh about, always being the soul of the party. Cristi was also part of the 2002-2003 EB in AIESEC Sibiu. My first EB. I have some amazing memories that keep coming back in these sad days.
We weren’t that close in the past 2 years, our lives heading in different directions. I’ve meet him just last week, he was eating out with Gabi. We had some laughs, had lunch together. We’ve parted saying the usual “We’ll be seeing each other …”. Yesterday, around 9PM, I was at home with some friends celebrating my 26th birthday. Bebe took me outside in the garden and told me he had very bad news … A stupid car accident.
This is a reminder of how fragile life really is. It’s a time when, as Gabi said we need to be strong and stick together. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.

Zeno…
He always wanted to kill a dog, and he took me to Ocna Sibiului, and we watched together illegal copied of hollywood movies, I was at his place many times with his family… he was my funniest and brightest memory of Sibiu… he is the face that I see when i think of Sibiu… he was the most genuine, crazy, joyfull person… I keep and keep telling the nicest moments we had together. We were together in Agressione… everywhere… I promised I would come back to visit him. I never did. Among my friends he was such a nice, joyfull truthfull one and instead of taking time to appreciate this I was busy with my things…
Zeno, I want you to know that I love my Sibiu team, forever and feel very deeply connected with all of you and I should and will spend more time with you!!!

I don’t know what to say … just that I realize that is strange to loose a good friend … and that all the “bullshits” from dream&act trainigs or other “lacrimongen” trainings are not so stupid … it was strange to see that we manage to see each others just in this sad moment … so let’s try to meet more often …
