Intro
As some of you might already know, two weeks ago I got the chance to spend three wonderful days in Rome, Italy. It all started back in September last year, when my oldest brother made me and my twin brother, as a birthday gift, an all inclusive round trip to Rome :).I must say, these cheap flights companies like Sky Europe make this kind of trips affordable. Very affordable. In fact the hotel for 2 nights there was double the amount we payed for the fight. So, this opens up very interesting travel locations in Europe ;).
Rome
Now, back to Rome… I think I saw lots of documentaries and movies about ancient and nowadays Rome, but I never thought the experience would be so profound. The city is simply amazing, everything is built at a gigantic scale, the old and new blends in perfectly, it’s like you’re in another world. No shiny metal, no rough concrete, no reflecting glass exteriors, only white marble and porous rock. Even the street names are sculpted in marble. At night everything is illuminated from different directions, it’s unreal … We walked till 4 o’clock in the morning on the streets, to see the wonderful baroque fountains at night, and above all the Fountana di Trevi.

Hey,
I’ve always been attracted to the people from AIESEC Cluj-Napoca, always regarded them as my “brother” LC. They manage to recruit and retain some of the best people from AIESEC Romania, year after year.
Being at their planning conference was one those moments when you feel relaxed, warm and cosy among cool people, like being among friends. And I had this feeling all the 5 days I’ve been there.
I’ve picked the song that is representative for these special people.

Did you take the time to observe yourself when landing in a new and unfamiliar place? Well, I always did. I’m a very curious person, always trying to find out how things work, where a road goes, what new ground I would find after a mountain ridge. It’s just an odd feeling I have when I’m exploring new places, it’s quite similar to flying. At least this is how it feels to me.
Although I’ve been quite a few times in Brasov (a city in the middle of my beautiful country), I’ve never had the time to wander around, to walk its city walls, to climb the surrounding hills, to sit in the main square and watch its people walk by.
I’m quite happy I’ve let myself be convinced (thanks Robert) to spend a weekend there. As not many of you know in this particular weekend the City Hall organizes the “Brasov Days”, lots of events taking placearound the city. Hiking there was quite easy as it lies right on the E81 road with plenty of light and heavy traffic, ride was smooth and totally free of charge :). For those not very familiar with Brasov, the city is placed in a valley and is surrounded by hills.

Hi,
This is as well boring … but go ahead :)
Trip
Hmmm how should I start? Well I got to Bucharest and boarded my plane on time (actually I had to wait ~60′), had no problems at customs and after 3 hours and a quick meal (delicious cookies) aboard I’ve landed in Schipol. During the trip I saw for the first time the moon bellow the horizon (under the plane). Very cool view, along with the foamy clouds and red twilight colors.
