Hey guys,
Not used with so many posts in so little time? Well I can’t help it… only today I’ve made up my mind: I’m running for the MCVP Communications position in the Romanian MC.
Some of my friends asked me why I choose Romania, as I was so convinced to try an abroad experience this year … Well it’s because I always wanted an IS related position in my country. And with the new structure this is now possible. It fits like a glow on my background: I’ve worked on branding at national (Romanian Branding Team) and international level (Global Branding Crew). I’ve just returned from a CEED where I worked under the Global Communication manager. I was 1 year VP Marketing in my LC. So, I have the background, I can do something for my country … why do it for others?
I thought a lot on this and it’s decided :).
Wish me luck!
The Lion.

I finally pushed myself to write something about one of the coolest experiences from this year. And yes … it’s the NPS (National Preparation Seminar).
First Impressions
I don’t know where to begin. I applied, I got selected. I wasn’t quite sure this will happen. The moment I got selected, pressure started to build up, emotions, days passed, we got to know the faci team, chatted on the community, exchanged files, finalized the agenda. I couldn’t wait to get there, to be there, to start the experience. I was to excited the moment I arrived at the conference site.
I was determined to be the best faci I possibly could be, to keep on smiling, to bring my knowledge and support for the guys in the team. I was somehow disturbed by some of the tired and long faces that greeted me in the pre-meeting. I was thinking (and saying it sometimes), hey guys, you choose this, and you choose to be here, why the long faces? I tried to keep my spirit and attitude up till the end of the conference, I don’t know if I managed, but I tried although it was very, very hard sometimes :D.

Hi,
This is as well boring … but go ahead :)
Trip
Hmmm how should I start? Well I got to Bucharest and boarded my plane on time (actually I had to wait ~60′), had no problems at customs and after 3 hours and a quick meal (delicious cookies) aboard I’ve landed in Schipol. During the trip I saw for the first time the moon bellow the horizon (under the plane). Very cool view, along with the foamy clouds and red twilight colors.

Hey guys,It’s been a while. I’ve been involved in many things, traveled a lot and that’s why I couldn’t dedicate time for my writing :P. This concludes my excuses part of this post. The following might be boring for you … but I still want to record it … so skip to my next post :)As every year, in fall, every AIESEC LCs in Romania organizes a regional or local conference for preparation of our new members.
It’s been 5 years since we organize together with Cluj-Napoca and Targu-Mures the Local Training Seminar. We’ve been so successful so far that many of the other LCs are copying us. It was a somewhat relaxing time for me as I had only 1 session to prepare and facilitate a bit during the conference.
I’ve put up some amount of work and finally delivered a training called “My Personal Network”. It basically raised awareness on how to building and maintaining your personal network, providing also at the end some tools.
I think it went out OK considering that it was supposed to be held by 2 trainers. Due to a misunderstanding I had to deliver the whole training myself and had to redesign it as I was delivering it … was tough a cool feeling. Didn’t do it for some time now.
